Oh, so heterosexual masculinity is worth more than a life, is it? This is what’s wrong with this world. This is precisely the fundamental root of all the oppression we suffer. They think we’re so far beneath them that it’s an insult to be mistaken for one of us. Gay guys are a threat to their masculinity, and lesbians won’t bow down to it. I wish everyone shared Hugh Jackman’s attitude, that being thought to be gay is no more insulting than being thought to be straight.
I’m so glad that Ms. Woods survived. Not many transgirls in these situations live to tell the tale.
P.S. I don’t care what the law’s view on this is. If Ms. Woods is seeking gender reassignment, she’s a transsexual and not a transvestite. And she’s a Ms., not a Mr. I should know, I’m a REAL bisexual transvestite (i.e. I identify as male, but I’ll wear female clothing for the hell of it). Well, I will be when I can afford some nice outfits. I’ll give it a try this summer! ;D
