  1. Yeah, good luck in getting the ascension countries to comply. The EU does come out with a load of bullsh*t. Perhaps we could actually see something being done for a change?

    Not all of the “accession countries” do badly when it comes to anti-discrimination laws. Romania has had anti-discrimination law covering sexual orientation discrimination in employment, access to goods and services, education and all other areas since 2000, long before the UK.

    But, yes, this is a very significant reform, probably the most significant EU-wide gay rights law so far.
