Shocked to the core! We pay our taxes to a fire service that does this? I hope when the ‘legal reasons’ for not naming suspects or the station involved, do come out, that this force gets the full justice of the law that it deserves. Had the fire fighter been black or asian, i bet it would be all over the papers and the tv. But once again, because it has the word gay, if probebly won’t even get a mention! You think we live in an age of equality!? This proves once again….we don’t!
Of course on the surface this seems very cut and dry but as is usually the case there’s more to this than meets the eye. I suggest everyone keeps schtum until the facts come out and the case is heard. Further comments like some of those already posted only succeed in showing ignorance. How can you possibly infer judgement on this fire service when you know nothing about it, just what the press reports?!!
