Can someone please tell me what the hell Nelson Mandela has contributed to the gay community?
This may be myth but I think I read somewhere that he insisted on equal rights for gays in South Africa because of his experience of being helped by a white gay couple; specifically, the story I read was that they got him out of a threatening situation by passing him off as their driver.
