The times I have read about ‘Gay Slayings’ Of course, Hitler killed most Gays and marked them with a ‘Pink Star’ on their lapel for segregation purposes before deportation to death camps. James Dean killed himself in his porche. Sal Minio was stabbed while parking his car in L.A. Playwrite Jo Orton killed by his lover who took his own life too. It’s all very depressing.

  2. What exactly is a “gay slaying”? Was the victim stabbed to death with a cocktail umbrella? Murder is murder, surely. Domestic violence sadly is just domestic violence. Ho bloody hum.

On a different note, however, I wonder how much it is in the public interest to know about the private lives of murder victims. No sooner is the brutalised body cold then gay men in particular seem to have their dirty linen aired in the press. Pink News could perhaps show the way by displaying a little more discretion in what stories it chooses to run.
