I used to pick on Lenny when he played against the Chicago Cubs. I was a well known fan, known as the “Bleacher Preacher”… and must admit that I used less than politically correct language myself, when picking on him… He was always figiting around in the outfield… and I would yell “JANE FONDA, NOW PLAYING IN CENTER FIELD! And my favorite… Lenny’s father was a Dykstra!
Let’s face some facts… there are as many hetero-phobic gays as there are homophobic non-gays… and there is a thin line between
pride and prejudice… and some people just don’t know the difference!
