Manchester Gay Village is not a safe place to go to, on our last trip we were taunted by four youths in a slow moving car as we were walking past Essential Club, we were also robbed of our belongings in the Gay hotel we stayed at. No, it is not the same anymore and although the Police filed a report being low level crime, nothing was done. We were re-imbursed our hotel stay money but was not enough to cover what was stolen from our hotel room. Our Insurance would not cover us.
I think it is important that people at least *know how to* be able to smash someone’s skull to pieces, and thrash the living daylights out of someone – only to be used as a last resort of course. There are, after all, some people out there who would love to do that to us, because of who we are, as Michael Causer’s execution style murder proves.
For the first four commenters, what you should have said was, I really hope he is found soon, and that he is OK. Instead you all said how bad the area is, making it sound like he is definitely hurt and in danger. Why assume the worst.

Manchester’s gay village usaed to be a “safe, safe” place. Things are changing and not for the better.
Still safer than most other places though I’m afraid to say.
