How come deliberate entrapment is allowed? Are the police allowed to use such sneaky tactics to get their arrest records higher.

I think the gay press should print pictures of those police involved in such activities so the gay community can ask for their removal from the police force.

you got the story wrong! The men who were encircled by the police were not accused of doing business with prostitutes, they were accused of BEING prostitutes. That is the absurdity.

  3. What the police are doing is wrong. However, gay men should stop hanging out in adult book stores looking for sex. In the age of the internet why the hell do we need to hang out in book shops. How very very tacky.

Jay, I think the point is that they weren’t looking for sex, but it was offered to them whilst they happened to be looking for books.

Have you never been propositioned out of the blue by a cute boy whilst doing the weekly shop in Waitrose, or whilst visiting a sick friend in hospital or at funeral?

police Harassment & police entrapment is world wide. here we have them targeting us gay men at every opportunity they find. Which I find is disgusting to say the least. They have the hypocrisy to march in Our Mardi Gras and pretend to be gay friendly and they are not.

Police entrapment and Police harassment happens world wide. Here they target us at every opportunity they find. then have the hypocrisy to march in the Mardi Gras pretending to be gay friendly and they are really anti-gay.

  7. This sort of thing is no longer tolerated by the Police in the UK. “Pretty Policemen” used to be used to trap guys in cottages but no more. As an ex officer I can tell you that the Gay Police Association has done great work to “outlaw” these types of operations in the UK. These guys and gals can be proud to march at Pride!
