My partner and I are among the 18,000 who wed in California. I am on pins and needles awaiting this judgement. It is so unfair that heteros can marry over and over again on a whim and I who have been with my partner for 8 years have to go through all this BS to have our relationship recognized. And still only half recognized because of DOMA. I am so heartsick over all of this. Why can’t we just live our own lives?
