  1. I wish them every success with this. There is a real need since broadcast TV has abandoned the LGBT community and seems to think that having the occasional gay couple on Property Ladder makes up for the loss of the kind of shows that Channel 4 did once upon a time.

I’m looking forward to seeing what kind of content they have, because here in the Southern US, I can’t get LOGO on cable (stupid rednecks) so I have to watch it online.

My only comment is… I’m not too keen on the name.

  4. “First Original Online blah blah…..”

HOMOVISION.TV has been the London Platform for Gay News for ages, supplying the demand for on-line all round news.

Not sure we want more blogs and gay TV is a naff concept anyway.

  5. what a bloody good idea – cant wait
Yes the name !!!! nobody wants to be called a fruit !!

  6. Sounds good to me, and I will be a regular visitor so long as the content is fresh as “fruit” lol x

  7. I though Fruit was refreshing, tasty, healthy and colourful! Think about it!

  8. Homovision is mostly for men I believe – Fruit TV recognises that women can be gay too and, from their trailer, seems to be creating content for women too. A nice change from the mysogenistic view of what gay content means.

  9. I think it’s amazing. For the naysayers, I think you really need to watch the trailer over at their website and then decide if this is a good idea. The content looks informative, interesting and I think it’ll go a long way to giving younger gay people a sense of history and identity. Fair play to them and long live fruit! I’ve already signed up for their newsletter, have you?
