  1. Good luck to “Milk” in the Oscars. Alas, our local Cineworld seems to deem a gay fim unsuitable for our community and will not be showing it, as was the case with “Brokeback Mountain”.

Also, good luck in the Oscars to the film about a Catholic priest and an altar boy “Doubt” which has four nominations.

  2. ‘Milk’ is not being shown at my local Cineworld either! i have emailed Cineworld to ask ‘Why’?? ….no reply yet.

  4. My local cine near Málaga in Spain is showing the film both in the original English and dubbed Spanish. I went to see it a couple of days ago; a terrific film – Sean Penn gets better and better with every film. Hope you get to see it.

We need more people like Harvey Milk in politics today, globally. The fight for GLBTIQ equality isn’t restricted within state borders anymore. It’s a world war declared and waged on us by religious organizations that stretch their web around the world. We must all stand together!
