    we’ll have to see how things unfold – HE doesn’t strike me as misgymist or homophobic, but his team….

    And it is striking how often “technical” problems manafe to exclude gay people “succeeding”

    The microphone also didn’t seem to be working for Pete Seeger either- to my knowledge, Pete Seeger is not gay. It’s a matter of faulty equipment, so people should direct their anger towards the people who should have checked and made sure that the equipment was working well beforehand.

  5. Amazing coincidence that the microphones started working again after the speech, innit? Seems like the same sort of “technical difficulty” a gay couple experienced in South Africa when a group of home affairs officials refused to issue them with a marriage permit.
