    Amazing that straight politicians are leading the clarion call to allow gay people to marry! Only in America!

    Amazing that straight politicians lead the clarion call to allow gay people to marry, just as they did in Holland, Belgium, Spain, Norway, Canada and South Africa.

    Maybe it’s not that amazing! Non-blacks were advocating an end to slavery and, later, discrimination of blacks and some men did the same for women. People: good, bad, indifferent.

  4. I don’t see why it’s amazing that straight politicians are leading the legislative way toward gay rights. Justice is justice, whether gay or straight. Then, too, of course, the presence of gay legislators in this country is pretty pathetic.
