this is great news, let’s hope it gets implemented, if countries like Italy or Portugal have to legally recognise the gay marriages or civil partnerships from member states like Spain or the UK, it makes it more likely that they will implement similar legislation themselves. Countries like Poland and the Baltic States will I’m sure try and ignore any progressive, pro gay legislation but if it does become European Law, they can atleast be sued!
