  1. the Australian Govt procrastinated for 10 years to avoid giving partners of their soldiers rightfully awarded pensions. This just shows how two faced politicians are, epsecially rightwingers: “our brave boys are good enough to die for us, but if you’re queer you’re not good enough to be treated with respect.

    I’m just glad that Oz has finally got rid of that repellant gnome and his band of shits!!

  2. Yes it its a great day for this man and many other gay/lesbian service people in the Australian Armed Forces that will now be granted equal rights under laws.. This is one of over a hundred law changes under federal law that grants same sex couples equal rights!!!

  3. Although I would be shocked if happened, the payment to Edward Young should be retroactive.
