Ruben Diaz is also a “christian” minister. As such, religous clerics should be banned from holding political office. This is a direct conflict between the constitutional ban on state religion as well as the separation of church and state guaranteed by the constitution. The needs to be addressed and legislated to free us from religious interference in politics.

Why is it so difficult to separate the State (all of us) and the clubs that call themselves ‘churches’? And why is it possible for socalled grown-ups to waste so much time on such a minor problem as people wanting to be able to get married? There are biggers issues!!

  3. The blacks and hispanics, now they’ve achieved de facto equality, are really not too bothered about the position of gay people. This was shown in the voting on Proposition 8 in California where 70% of black people voted for the ban on gay marriage. As for blacks and hispanics claiming to be Christians, they’re worse still!
