  1. If the Californian Supreme Court refuse the voters decision on prop8 – this will create an atomic mushroom effect over the USA.
On the verge of the Milk Movie – this can only happen in California and the gays are fighting soooo hard – I drop my hat for their efforts and hope –
Liberty – and Equality for all will happen for us all in the world
Californian – good luck for your fight

Too little, too late! Arnold the Gropenfuhrer knows better and yet he rushed to support the toxic republicans in their vile denial of human rights. Shameful!

  3. zazou – If Prop 8 is overturned, I don’t see it having any great effect on the rest of the country aside from allowing the Right to squeeze a little more mileage out of the idea that gay marriage is being forced on an unwilling public by renegade courts. With gay marriage already legal in Massachusetts and Connecticut and recognized in New York, California isn’t really the leader on this. (To be fair, though, they would have been the first to legislate gay marriage of their own free will if Schwarzenegger hadn’t vetoed it.)

I’d rather see Prop 8 reversed by popular vote. We’re almost there, and it would serve us much better in the long run. Then again, it’s easy for me to feel that way since I’m not a Californian and Prop 8 didn’t take anything away from me personally.
