Gay magazine AMX‘s last paper edition will be printed this November, with only an online version available from mid-January 2009.

The magazine is owned by Millivres Prowler, which also owns Gay Times, Diva and Pink Paper.

Launched in 1999, the publisher of the AXM claims that it has a circulation of over 50,000.

AXM has announced that none of its staff will be made redundant, retaining its full-time editor and designer.

Media director at Millivres Prowler Kim Watson told Press Gazette: “We will be announcing the launch of these new platforms at the end of the month.”

Tris Reid-Smith, consultant editor of AXM and editor of Pink Paper, said:

“The definitive factor is that we feel the digital media format is very attractive to the demographic we’re reaching, which is principally aimed at young gay men.

“We feel that format is going to be more attractive to our readers and advertisers in the future.”
