In the Tottenham vs Portsmouth match on Sepember 28 the following was chanted repeatedly by Spurs supporters:

“”Sol, Sol, wherever you may be / You’re on the verge of lunacy / Andwe don’t give a f**k if you’re hanging from a tree / You Judas c**twith HIV.” “He’s big, he’s black. He takes it up his crack. Sol Campbell, Sol Campbell.”

No disciplinary action has been taken by Spurs. Which simply shows how insignificant these clubs find this type of abuse.

re the point made by a ‘spokewoman’ that abuse is a ‘public order offence’. Actually it’s a hate crime, aggravated by race or homophobia, and should be treated as such.

Simple – FIFA and the FA can decide to award two goals to the team/player being subjected to racist/homophobic abuse …. the clubs are happy to make money from these morons and if they refuse to take action against them [see Simon Murphy above] then hit the clubs where it hurts most … in their League points/position!!!! They’ll soon get the message and take their responsibilities seriously.

  4. Throwing banannas at black players and jeering homophobic abuse just proves who really belongs swinging thru the trees!
