I have no problem with this; so long as church doesn’t interfere with state affairs, to be honest…
While 85 % of Norwegians might be nominally members of the church, I am pretty sure the number of people who are christians is a very small proportion of the population.
Your say, “Cults should not be allowed to have anything to do with marriages in any case. It’s an unwarranted intrusion into civil affiars.
They should be limited to their role as part of the entertainment industry and taxed.”
I’d like to know your definition of a “cult” as opposed to a
long-established religious system that dates over 5,000 years.
You consider religious beliefs “entertainment” — it was
“entertainment” when the Roman leadership sent Christians into
the arena to be killed by lions. It that the same category
you’d use for entertainment in today’s civilized world?
I think you’re Christphobic and don’t have the courage to
acknowledge it because of your homosexuality — we are not
homophobics — we’re not afraid of homosexuals, but want to
preserve our 5,000 year old traditions for man-woman marriage,
children being raised by a mother and father as has been done
since civilized people realized that type of relationship offered
the greatest form of benefits for civilization advancing, even
with the problems individuals caused when they didn’t follow
the Biblical principles to its fullest .
