  1. As the widowed mother of 2 children I in no way feel marginalized by the statements of the LDS church’s letter, despite the belief of Affirmation that I have been. I recognize that this situation is not ideal for my children and don’t pretend otherwise….

  2. Carol, Simply because you do not feel marginalized does not mean that the policy in question is not, in fact, serving to marginalize you.
Your feelings are not the issue, the policy statement is.

  3. *** Please send this to everyone You know, who supports Gay Rights ***

Did You know, you might be getting Mormon ‘values’ forced on you, and not even know it?

The Bonneville International Corporation, headquartered in Salt Lake City, owns broadcasting markets in Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington, DC., Seattle, Phoenix, St. Louis, Cincinnati, and Salt Lake City, where they own the NBC affiliate station, KSL, which is sent out to all of Utah and parts of Nevada, Idaho, Colorado and Wyoming.

(We waited until after Utah’s local government voted down all the initiatives that would give civil rights to gay people. Now it’s time to stop using the products that enable the Mormons to tell people how they should live their lives. They want to play hard-ball politics with Your civil rights. You are up to bat now.)

NBC got in bed with the Mormons when they produced the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. The Mormon company bought the NBC affiliate, and the first thing the Mormons did is take Saturday Night Live off the NBC airwaves.

    Boycott NBC!

We are asking You to remove NBC from Your list of television channels. Just go into Your television menus and delete Your Local NBC television stations. Yea, this will mean not catching the Today Show, or Law & Order, and all the commercials in-between, but it’s well worth it to let NBC, and its owner, Universal, and GE, know that Mormons don’t get a say in how You live Your life or what shows You get to watch.

Please write NBC, Universal, and GE on the following web page, to let them know You have stopped using their products until the Mormons, either sell the affiliate of NBC or bring back Saturday Night Live, and change their immoral political positions against gay people.

Bonneville International Corporation should not be an affiliate of NBC.
Bring back Saturday Night Live to the NBC line-up in all areas.
Get the Mormons out of NBC business.
And, support civil rights for gay people.

i will not watch NBC until i know NBC, it’s affiliates, and parent companies, Universal and GE, support gay civil rights and are not being controlled by Mormon thinking.
