What doesn’t harm them, doesn’t worry them even if the rest of us suffer inequalities. They are the usual selfish, arse-kissing neocon sycophants who would sell us down the river (and they do every time they vote for these clowns), rather than stick their necks out and put their livelihoods on the line for justice and equality. Take away their wealth, their jobs, their possesions, health insurance….they’d be singing a very different tune!

They opposed the Civil Rights Acts of 1866 and 1875, eviscerated them when the were finally passed, and opposed them again 100 years later.
This party was insturmental in establishing Jim Crow laws and refusing to support anti-lynching legislation.
Democrats had spent 165 years from the party founding in 1800 to about 1965 benefiting politically, socially and financially from support for both slavery and segregation.
And he wants to paint black the party that was the proponent of all these civil rights movements.
