I’m not entirely sure that gay and lesbian Anglicans would embrace the appellation “enemy,” Nick. We are kith and kin. Besides, loving your enemies is easy. Loving your family is sometimes much more difficult.
So the archbisphop of canterbury has sided with the homophobes in the anglican community. Shame on him. One would think that he of all people knows that the bible says god is love. Not god is hate.
Lets hope the more enlightened branch of the Episcopalians in North America will break with Canterbury. In doing so, they will diminish the much needed revenue the C of E needs to support its missionary work in the emerging nations, thereby diminishing its power and influence. The bulk of financial support for such work comes from the Episcopalian branch….without it, the C of E would be crippled. Lets bring it on! Way to go, Bishop Gene!

These guys have lost the whole meaning; God is Love – love (respect) thy “enemy”.

I wonder if these churches are being replaced by a higher consciousness and they just don’t know it.
Well, well, well, the Archbishop of Canterbury has sided with the homophobes in teh ANglican “communion”. Shame on him. God is love. Not hate.
