Perhaps we’re moving toward a time when religion is removed as a barrier for discrimination against sexual or racial minorities. For far too long, God has been unfairly cast in the role of justifying bigotry. Perhaps it’s corny, but we are all God’s children and the Master of the Universe has far more to do than worry about skin color and gender preference among the beings who inhabit our minor planet.

The common by the Catholic Children’s Society for Arundel and Brighton is completely misquoted. Terry Connor the director of the children’s charity comments were only that if people sought to apply for political reasons as opposed to a genuine interest in adoption then they would “not get very far”. This particular agency has a very supportive Board of Trustees and and have been open and transparent throughout these debates. We should be celebrating their approach not misquoted them. Ben
