Gaydar expands its radio reach to Australia

The UK’s most popular gay radio station is to launch in Australia later this year.

GaydarRadio has won armfuls of awards and is broadcast in the UK on Sky and globally online.

It is also on digital radio in London and the Sussex coast.

The latest figures from Gaydar show that monthly reach of GaydarRadio listeners via all platforms is 538,393.

A press statement about the launch of GaydarRadio in Australia revealed that owners QSoft Consulting plan to launch GaydarNation in China.

GaydarRadio will officially be launched in Australia on 1st September 2008.

Earlier this month it was voted Commercial Radio Digital Station of the Year at the Arqiva Commercial Radio Awards 2008 yesterday.

The station won the prestigious title for the second year running.

GaydarRadio became Sony Digital Radio Station of the Year in April 2007 and was nominated for the award again this year.
