Its all well and good that the European Commission is to introduce a new directive on discrimination, but unless it has any “teeth” or mandatory requirements for membership, its going to have little impact on offender member states. Either the EU gets serious or it doesn’t and if it doesn’t, expect no progress, but business as usual.
