    4:22 PM — The Mayor of London has said that Pride London will have his support in future years, after he took part for the first time today. In a week where one of his deputy Mayors resigned and his father-in-law, respected broadcast journalist Sir Charles Wheeler, died, Boris Johnson seemed genuinely uplifted by the event.

    12:18 PM — Conservative party leader, David Cameron, has sent his goodwill message to the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered (LGBT) community ahead of London's pride event. "I am delighted to send my best wishes to everyone attending this year's Pride London event."
