I think this is a huge shame. We have a crisis: 18 dead in London this year and we need the most capable person to sort this out urgently. I could not care less about some financial irregularity from years ago. INdeed, it should have been made public. But it pales into insignificance when compared with the obvious good this person has done.
Sounds like the left are trying to get into the Conservatives, but sadly they are far, far from sleazy as Livingstone’s administration was. I’m glad that Boris has opened the window for Ray to return.
