Next month sexual health charity Terrence Higgins Trust will launch a group for gay men addicted to sex.

The first meeting will take place in central London on the evening of 16th July. It will meet every week for ten weeks.

The group is for men who feel they behave compulsively or addictively when it comes to sex.

It aims to help people who feel that their sexual behaviour is having an overwhelming and negative impact on their lives.

Gordon Mundie, Group work co-ordinator at THT said:

“Having lots of sex might sound fantastic but some people find it taking over their lives or becoming more of a compulsion.

“This group aims to offer support to men who feel like their relationship with sex seems out of control.

“If this is the case, you might not be able to talk to your friends about it, but there is help available.

“Just get in touch.”

The group is funded by the Pan London HIV Prevention Partnership.
