The ultra-orthodox have too much influence in Israel. They are an intolerant group who wish to turn back the clock. They do not accept the changes in the world since the Enlightenment took place in Europe. They are entitled to live in a self segregated medieval world if that is how they want to live but their way of life and way of thinking should not be imposed on other Israelis.
