Emmerdale: Sharon and Nicola have a catfight in the Woolpack

Illustrated rainbow pride flag on a white background.

Things are heating up between David and Nicola as he begins to realise that his feelings for her have returned. When Nicola uses David’s cleaning firm to scout for dog-sitting clients he is quietly impressed and the sexual tension between them is clear. But just when it looks as though things are starting to get steamy, they are abruptly interrupted by Sharon. Has old-flame Nicola got David’s heart racing again?

Later in the week, it looks as though Nicola’s dog walking business is finally starting to take off. But she regrets asking Victoria for help when the silly girl mistakenly takes a prize stud to be castrated. Rushing to stop Paddy from completing the operation, Nicola fails to lock her door and the other dogs escape into the village.

Later, she enlists David’s help to track down a missing Alsatian in the bed and breakfast. The feisty dog soon overpowers them and they find themselves locked in a room together. Will they take this chance to relight the flames of passion?

While Nicola and David are still hiding from the dog, they overhear Sharon talking about David and mocking him. Furious, Nicola later frogmarches David down to the Woolpack where he dumps Sharon in front of the whole pub. Seeing red, Sharon launches at love-rival Nicola and soon hair is flying as the two become embroiled in a vicious catfight. Will Nicola and David be able to keep the past events behind them and start a new relationship?

Elsewhere, Viv is not too happy with her legal-aid solicitor who she feels has no understanding of her case. When he tells her to plead guilty it’s the final straw for Viv. She orders Bob to find a more suitable lawyer. He refuses as he has no money and Viv starts to panic that she could be heading for prison. Is Viv about to kiss goodbye to her freedom?

Viv’s hopes are dashed further when the judge at her hearing sets a trial date for August. Realising the seriousness of the situation, Bob agrees to get a better solicitor but explains that it will be at the cost of their businesses. Louise tries to help by suggesting she could buy the Post Office and café to keep them in the family, but Viv accuses her of wanting to usurp her role. Will the family fall apart as the threat of prison looms?

Elsewhere, local star-in-the-making Marlon is excited about his television debut. The moment is soon ruined when everyone else tries to muscle in on the limelight.

Unhappy about missing her husband’s big moment, Donna is forced to spend the day on a stakeout with Ross. Secretly though, he’s pleased to have her to himself and as the two get chatting Ross makes it clear that he likes someone at work. Donna finally gets him to reveal that it’s her. Back at home, Donna is thrilled that Marlon’s interview slot was a success. Will she confess that she has an admirer?
