Cocktails, back rubs and tarot card readings raised thousands for THT

A fundraising cocktail event has raised £35,000 for the Terrence Higgins Trust.

Sponsored by Kiehl’s and Ampersand Travel, the event took place in the urban chic of Village Underground in Shoreditch.

More than 400 people were treated to Grey Goose’s unique cocktails such as ‘Summer in the City’, ‘Pomegranate and Blood Orange Martini’ and ‘Queen Bee Martini’.

As well as sipping drinks, guests danced to sets from a top DJ and TV magician Laura London performed.

Others got their future told through tarot card readings and enjoyed a relaxing back massages in the ‘chill out lounge.’

THT is the UK’s leading HIV and sexual health charity, providing a wide range of service across England, Wales and Scotland.

The charity also campaigns and lobbies for greater political and public understanding of the personal, social and medical impact of HIV and sexual ill health.
