2008's festival was due to be held on the 19th and 20th JulyDue to lack of funding, the Lincolnshire Pride committee are postponing this year’s event.
Despite some high-profile fundraising events during this year, Lincolnshire Pride has decided to carry over the money and support raised to 2009.
The Pride committee said that they hope that postponing the event will enable them to run a successful, large-scale Pride of which “Lincolnshire can be proud.”
2008′s festival was due to be held on the 19th and 20th July. A large fundraiser will now be held on that weekend.
Last year, the committee raised £12,000 in sponsorship.
