  1. It is high time our British Government stopped sending any overseas aid to backward countries like Uganda, Nigeria, Jamaica etc who enshrine persecution of their gay citizens in law and whose politicians condone discrimination and violence upon their gay brothers and sisters. We should lead Europe in taking a stand against these murderous regimes who cling to the vile attitudes which ironically were introduced in their countries by our British imperial forebears in the 19th Century. Where as we have left these neandertel and ignorant values behind us, consigning them to the dustbin of history, these nations continue chanting the hatreds of their former colonial masters. No equality and no freedoms for sexual minorities should equal no more overseas aid.

Eddie, I totally agree with you, but its not going to happen, no matter who occupies number 10. Trade and oil are more important than human rights, always has been, always will be. Its the capitalist way. Not only should we ban all aid to offender nations but dismantle the commonwealth entirely. Its useless, pointless, expensive and we really get nothing out of it.

While we’re at it, lets also have state religion disestablished as well as put a stop to funding other denominations. They are irrelevant, unnecessary, undemocratic and when convenient, political agitators and anti free speech when it comes to getting a dose of their own medicine.
