    And why again are we even considering these people for membership of the EU? A new friend for Poland perhaps?

    Kerem, if you’re viewing this website, here is the evidence I gave you about the anti-gay stance taken by your government. As such, your country should be denied entry into the E.U. until it reverses its discriminatory policies. It is not worthy of membership, its human rights violations are myriad, until that is resolved, Turkey will remain a pariah nation among others.

  3. I can see Turkey having as legitimate request to join the EU. However, we don’t NEED any more homophobes in – we’ve got enough with Poland et al, all of whom are in mainly for the habdouts, not from any real feeling of the need to be western democracies
