Which comments did Rev Wright make that were ‘anti-gay’?His church is one of the few to reach out to the gay community and so I was surprised to read this headline – but on reading the article I can’t find exactly what he said that is ‘anti-gay’ – can you please clarify?
Seems someone got there before me in asking this question. This really does seem to be a libellous article and highly ironic given that – as I stated before – Rev Wright belongs to one of very few churches in existence to actually gay rights. “In the process, he built a spiritual empire. The modest brown brick building that housed the church in the 1970s was converted into a day-care center when Trinity opened its new sanctuary in 1995 at 400 W. 95th St. Members run more than 80 ministries, , –also unusual for a black church.”
I’m sorry but you really would think that a site aimed at the gay community would verify their facts before labelling a champion of gay rights ‘anti-gay’.This has made me furious although I see that you have now changed the headline.
