  1. Why is Matthew Bourne’s Swan Lake always referred to as “all-male”? There are several female roles in the production including a very prominent lead role. It must be annoying to the very many talented female dancers who have appeared in this production over the years to be ignored.

  2. My partner and I have seen the ‘all male’ Swan Lake in New York and Stoke-on-Trent,UK, this is a fabulous production, there is also Car-Man and Nutcracker, by Matthew Bourne. These are great opportunities for Male ballet dancers gay or straight to show their excellence to all audiences, do women have to be in everything??
