Who can blame so many Polish people who have migrated here if ‘that’ is the attitude towards Human Rights Gay people by their Polish leadership.Should someone tell their leadership they ARE in the EU?
Rules are rules, and if they want to stay in the EU, then they have to obey those rules, just like the rest of us.
Surely there is more chance of them towing the line IF they remain in the EU. If they are booted out, there will be no incentive to change.Whilst in the EU, the threat of sanctions is a far more valuable tool in coercing the Polish government to embrace equality.

this speech from president kaczka is part of his effort to get a referendum in poland about the lisbon treaty in stead of a parliamentary vote. since his party PiS and his gay twin prime minister brother were trown out after the 2007 elections, let him eventually have his referendum. the general feeling in poland is that the treaty will then be approved, including the human rights clause. most of the PiS program is a true copy of the NSDAP program from the third Reich, with a catholic fundamentalist sauce over it, and is bound to become insignificant soon.the longer Poland is in the EU, the more people spit on the kaczkas.

Gendy, here in the states, the majority of paedophiles are usually heterosexual men who are attracted to both genders, whatever is available to them. Unfortunately for the priest scandal, the majority of times paedophilia was committed, only boys were readily available in comparison to the number of girls. Paedophilia is gender neutral, its about power over those who have none, as perverse as that is. Unfortunately again, the Catholic church equates paedophilia solely with gay men, as do many catholic psychologists though none have acutally demonstrated that in the scientific literature. I have to say if I were the unfortunate couple who had my cherished wedding video liberated by el Presidente, I wouldn’t be too chuffed at the use of phrases like “lurid images of gay marriage” to describe it, particularly in the gay press.

While I do not beleive that Poland should suffer any EU sanctions for it’s views (why punish people the massive Polish diaspora in the UK that would find themselves isolated), I do beleive that it is time for the international Gay community to mobilise and make a complete, unelectable fool out of this horrible little shit, Lech Kaczynski. I urge all gay people, who give a shit about their rights, to take whatever action they can to tarnish, embarrass or just tread on the reputation of this fool. We can make a difference. Don’t let him think that we are a “pushover”. Hit him hard.
