  1. My partner and I attended last night’s Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras. This was the parade’s 30th anniversary and it sure lived up to it’s reputation for fun, frivolity and lots of flesh. I’ve marched in the parade many times, but this year we decided we wanted to see the whole fabulous event. So we found a great viewing spot along the parade route where we were surrounded by tipsy but merry English, Korean and German tourist. Well done to all the marchers and especially the hot army boys marching for the first time this year under the official Australian Defence Forces Banner. Can’t wait for parade number 31!

Oz can sure show us a thing or hundred about inclusive diversity and the integration of those on the margins of society! What struck me was the expectancy for change and the accountability should the politicians duck out of the priorities. A real fever of us Brits in 97 with Blair! So watch and hope with vigilance! Yes they sure know how to PARTY in Oz! In recovery back to reality soon!
