  1. It’s a real shame that this has been cancelled – we’ve been going for the past few years and it was something to look forward to at the end of the season.Fortunatley for the lesbians out there – there’s something else to look forward to – a big concert being planned for March 29th called ‘An ‘L of a tribute night’ at St. David’s Hall in the centre of Cardiff – you can get tickets from or the box office. Should be a great Lesbian night out!

  2. what an absolute bummer!!!!cardiff mardi gras CANCELLED!!!! we’ve been going and partying there for the past 4 years and have a wicked time with wicked level headed people!!gutted its not happening this year…

  3. omg!!!no cardiff mardi gras??ive been going to cardiff mardi since i met my girlfriend 4 years ago, this year would have been our 1st cardiff mardi gras as wife and wife, cant believe theres not enough funding…i know things like this happens but cardiff gay pride???gutted!!

  4. we cant let this happen, i’m sure if there’s enough people who feel strongly enough about making cardiff mardi gras go ahead, we can pull it off!!!!!!!!

  5. I cant get believe theres no Mardi Gras this year, totally gutted, just as i read above, me and my partner have gone for the past 4 years, and this year would have been our first time as wifes also, please save the cardiff Mardi Gras !!!!

  6. I am devastated that there is no Mardi Gras this year, the 10th year as well and the first year i would be there with my wife, it would have been great. Donations are really needed, so to all those people that dont give, start putting your hand in your pocket, please. Bring back the Mardi Gras.

I can’t believe that it has been cancelled. I booked leave last year to make sure that we could go. My wife and all of my friends travel from East Devon every year. We love it.So c’mon people – do as Tigerclaws says – hands in your pockets and cough up.Cant wait till the next Cardiff Mardi Gras – but its gonna be a long wait x

  8. If everybody paid £10 for the entrance fee we would then really know who wants to go to Mardi Gras and it would keep out the idiots. Then each year you would have enough money to fund the following year!!!!I want my Mardi Gras in Cardiff xxPS you wont find better Drag Queens than Miss Kitty, Fanny Dazzle and Amber-Dextrous, they come to Devon and we go to Cardiff

  9. OOOO MY GOLLY, its 2008 and no mardi gras in cardiff, i think it should go ahead and pay £10 if only if its 4 this year. Or how can we collect money and get the show on the road plz help .. we cant have no mardi gras in cardiff. I wait all year 4 it. :-(

  10. Cardiff Pride is back on! September 6th I think they should really change this page because it’s the first thing that comes up on google and no one is going to go >_<

  11. im confused is mardi gras still on in cardiff? like every1 else i look 4ward to it every year&its the 1 time all me m8s get2gether i havnt seen in a while.I’d pay the £10 entry fee but i do think they should put it back a bit cos it seems to get later every year.
