Desperately sad for the abuse she faced.seems par for the course for that line of work and sadly too for that town. I was born in Kirkby and found it a parochial hard bitten backwater of a town where broad mindedness would never thrive.
I know it’s difficult but it’s a shame she didn’t stay on the wagons. It just makes all the harder for the next person to come out and survive in the industry.
