  1. Read the Bible. As men of God who follow the teachings of God, they have no choice but to practice what they preach. Men and women of God understand that God’s Word is not to be altered or played with. It is not a matter of good or bad people, but the Commandments of God. Why do people have such a hard time with this issue. We are born with inherent knowledge of right and wrong. When we look deep into that place that no one else can see, we know what is right and what is wrong. Raising a child in an atmosphere of “sin”, regardless of our own personal belief, would enable the lifestyle of homosexuality to appear normal and healthy to children who become adults. It would foster the sin. I do not mean to offend, rather to speak the truth.

  2. One can only have sympathy for the severe mental illness suffered by the anonymous poster. He/She clearly needs long-term care in a psychiatric hospital,or,failing that,in a lunatic asylum.

  3. I don’t think any of that makes sense, anonymous. What is inherently sinful about homosexuality? Sure, it’s different, and to practisers of religion, in essence a *fossilised philosophy* difference and change is bad. Incidentally, if you’re going to defend your religious beliefs and, ostensibly, follow the will of whatever deity you believe exists, you should also be prepared to stand out and express your beliefs rather than hide behind anonymous comments.

Anonymous, you moron, take a peek at the following website and see if you and your kind abide by the rest of scriptural hocus-pocus aimed at straights in particular. Or do you conveniently ignore all of it with the exception of that ridiculous rant in Leviticus? http://www.fallwell.com

Well, “anonymous”, you get Jesus to appear in the dock of a court of law for the defence, and THEN I’ll start to believe that you, and your weak minded brethren, have even the slightest iota as to what “god’s will” is and what is “right and wrong”…….until that day, you’re just being a small minded bigot with delusions of knowledge of the divine.

  6. anonymousif these “men of God who follow the teachings of God” were consistent then at least one could debate with them (lobster anyone?) But they pick and choose what to implement. Leviticus where it suits them, a lot of PAul’s teaching, but not very much of Christ’s. And that’s before the debate on the historic accuracy of the new testament (and existance osf a historic “Jesus”) is examined.Your naif focus on homosexuality as being both sinful and abnormal and unhealthy is merely subjective and not really worth discussion, it’s covering old ground where fundies like you insult gay and lesbian people for behaviours evolved to survive in YOUR bigotted world. It is undeniably the case that many lesbians raise their children, often with same sex parttners, successfully. Except of course where the children are bullied by other children raised in your way, and left undefended by adults adopting your views.
