The gay ARTS are sutely under attack! This is what happened in Cornwall by HOMOPHOBIC CORNWALL POLICE who DESTROYED a gay Art business.Watch the video’s.

Arts Council cuts to The Drill Hall and Queer-Up-North send a message that queers are not of value in our culture or included in culture diversity. It is experimental political cutting-edge theatre that struggles to survive in our society; so why cut funding from those who make innovative work happen ? As the Artistic Director of an emerging queer theatre company who is supported by both organisations, I am shocked, outraged and devastated.

Malcolm, was this ‘gay art business’ also engaing in experimental political cutting-edge theatre? If not, then it looks like you’re just jumping on another bandwagon to further your own agenda against Cornwall police

  4. such an important part of gay culture that I’ve never heard of it until today.

  5. gay ARTS are also a part of human’s wealth.we should struggle for our rights.i am a gay and my profile is on gaysinglehunt.com where i look for gay partner

I hate to say this but the Drill Hall management is out of touch, They dont produce anything interesting or provocative anymore – just far our weird stuff for people stuck in the 80s. There is plenty of great gay stuff going on but none of it is there. Why wasnt the revival of Beautiful Thing there? Why isnt it holding gay comedy nights? Why isnt it doing what Duckie does?Theres so much the could be doing but arent. I havent been there in years – i look at the programme and it bores me to tearsSomeone pleasse take it over because we cannot lose this great venue.
