This makes me want to cry. I hope that sweet child receives some type of compensation for his/her pain and I hope that something can be done to prevent this from happening in the future at this school and any other. I realize that a monetary sum will not give this child back the treasured prom and the cherished memories it could have had but the school needs to be punished and they need to be an example of what is right and what is wrong. They definitely fall under the latter.
