The Irony of this almost made me choke on my lunch. I work directly with victims of Homophobic/transphobic hate crime in the North east of England specifically Co Durham and Darlington but I have contacts in North wales who have been victims of repeated victimisation over a number of years eg 17 windows broken over a 6 month period. Gay men abused by Police officers when in known cruising ground even when they were NOT cruising. Victims not taken seriously when reporting crimes and told that if they were to take the law into there owns hands they would be summarily arrested? Commitment to diversity is fine but what about sanctions on agencies that do not engage or decide that the gay community is just another box to Tick….Emma Roebuck
