  1. It’s no suprise that Bush will veto this when he has a chance. He is concerned that it may be un-constitutional, this from a president who has managed to trash the constitution every chance he gets.

Jordy – It’s conceivable that he may not veto it because it’s so watered down that from his point of view it’s just harmless sentiment instead of a real law with real teeth. The Democrats unilaterally gutted it without consulting the movement and the Republicans ‘amended’ it to death. Lambda Legal says it’s too weak to win cases in court. This is a Democrat controlled congress and they vote to enable his war and for his anti constitutional bills like the Paytriot act every time they come up.

Jordy, he WILL veto it. The republican party has never supported equality and never will and I just don’t understand why any self-respecting gay American voter could get behind an extremely conservative party that doesn’t want them or have their interests at heart. I suppose they care more about their accumulated wealth, their second home, fancy cars and tax breaks that you and I never get. To hell with the rest of us is what they’re all about. A party of hatred, intolerance, greed and self-serving interests. A bunch of self-loathing sycophants.
