Those looking to catch a glimpse of Harry Potter’s Daniel Radcliffe in the buff should set aside some time next September.

That’s when the 18-year-old will reprise his role in Peter Shaffer’s Equus on Broadway in New York.

The Daily Mail reports that the play, which famously features a nude scene involving the teen star, will open at a to-be-announced Shubert theatre at some point during that month.

New York rehearsals with director Thea Sharrock, whose revival of Caryl Churchill’s Cloud Nine just opened at the Almeida Theatre in London, are thought to begin in August.

According to, Radcliffe will re-team during the New York production with Richard Griffiths, who joined him on stage during the play’s London run earlier this year.

In Equus, Radcliffe inhabits the role of a disturbed stable boy who blinds six horses with a spike while Griffiths plays a psychiatrist who attempts to discover the source of boy’s psychosis.

Shaffer based the play on a true story told to him by a friend.
