If this is how badly Christians interprete the Sexual Orientation Regulations, its no wonder the Bible’s position towards gay people got so badly misrepresented.I pity their kids, who’ve probably been taught the world’s flat.

I don’t want people like this fostering children. They are clearly totally unsuitable. No loss.

  3. Somerset made the right decision – There are two many people judging others Foster parents have no rights of enforcing there own ppersonal beliefs. they are there to provide a saf caring environment for the foster child.

Sister Mary, isn’t it rich that these socalled christian hypocrites use one questionable reference in Leviticus to denigrate us and yet there is a plethora of quotes in that questionable book of fairytales they so strongly believe in which puts them, the straights in a very bad light, such as being allowed to kill your spouse for adultery, your children for disobedience, not being allowed to marry you brother or sister’s widow/widower, adultery banned, divorce forbidden in the ten commandments, the eating of shellfish forbidden, wearing fabric of more than one fibre, the litany is endless. Its about someone with authority on scripture and who isn’t antigay bash back at them. Maybe Rowan Williams should get off of his lazy arse and say something if he’s so supportive of equality and against discrimination.

Russell, here in the US, there have been reliable studies on same sex parenting and it has been found that often the children of such couples do far better than many in straight married families. These people are living in the dark ages and are nothing more than bigots and hypocrites. They’re no christians by any stretch of the imagination.

Myself I believe that they are right to stick to their views. I am a fairly laid back person; however when you have the state promoting things that children need to be comfortable with at their own speed doesn’t make sense. I have had the misfortune to deal with Somerset County Council in the past and they do seem to stick completly to what they are told and don’t make a reasoned decision on the interpretation.
