Police are appealing for the public’s help in tracing a man who has been missing from his home in Cheadle Hulme.

John Chadwick, who is aged about 42, of Hall Meadow, was last seen by his landlord on Monday evening, 2 July 2007, at about 8pm at The Ryecroft Arms on Turves Road.

John visited a cousin in the Brixton area of London between 6 and 8 July, but since leaving his cousin’s house, he has not been seen or heard from and police are now unable to reach him.

John is described as white, of stocky build, 5ft 8in and with shaven ginger hair.

He has a tattoo of a little red devil on his left arm and was last seen wearing casual clothing, like jeans and a t-shirt.

Police are asking for John himself or anyone who knows of his whereabouts to contact police at Stockport on 0161 856 9151.
