This was an odd situation. Jim Davidson was truly awful, as expected – so why did ITV put him in there with Brian Dowling? The whole thing was manufactured to generate viewing figures, in the same way that Big Brother played the race game.Take two extremes, put them together and watch the fight. A bit sick really.

As I said, they’re both extreme cases, one is extremely nasty and the other is extremely queeny.
Grow up Brian. Jim Davidsons comments are mild compared to most drag queens who say the most offensive comments about both gays and straights. You put yoorself up for this so take the crap
Shocking. Spineless TV suits bending over as usual
How can people in this society say something, which others will not find offensive, the country and world has changed too much for us, to say something, without having to think about what we say first. JIM DAVIDSON IS AND ALWAYS WILL BE GREAT. I do not find what he has said to be offensive or in bad taste, Perhaps Brian should be the one to have left. BRING JIM BACK
As far as I am concerned Jim made the show. Brian was totally pathetic, Jims’ comments were taken completely out of context and it seems both Brian and the two girls were unable to interpret what was said. Jim shoud still be in the kitchen, Brian should have gone on Saturday. The PC brigade have won yet again, hang your heads in shame ITV.
I have GAY friends who do not behave in the same way that Brian has on this show.
well i think jim could have put things nicer he was a bit of a pig!!!
Brian is a fine one to speak. My daughter and her friend spoke to brian in the city the other day and his words were.”i’m not like your kind”my daughter and her friend are gay so i guess he was being snoddish and forgot who put him where he is today.”What a prick!1
